The Les Paul Standard is the flagship model, featuring high-quality materials, a more luxurious finish, and typically higher price point. The Les Paul Studio is a more affordable option, with simpler aesthetics and less ornate finishes, but still maintains the same core construction and sound quality as the Standard. Gibson Custom Shop Inspired By Joe Bonamassa Aged Les Paul Goldtop 2008 Aged Goldtop - RefurbishedThis is an incredibly special Gibson Custom 'Inspired By' Joe Bonamassa Aged Les Paul Goldtop. Available from 2008-2010, this guitar is based on a heavily modified 1955 Goldtop that came through Joe's father's shop when he was just 11 years old. Naturally featuring a set-neck construction, the guitar comprises a 'light' Mahogany body with Maple top, Mahogany neck and 22 fret Rosewood fingerboard. Aged Nickel hardware is fitted including a StopBar tailpiece and ABR-1 ToM bridge, with three Nylon saddles & 3 Steel saddles. The headstock echoes the early '50s design with it's slightly narrowed top edge & lower headstock logo, and is fitted with Grover Rotomatic tuners as well as a 'Bonamassa' truss rod cover. A pair of Gibson Burstbucker pickups are installed, with a BB2 in the neck and a BB3 in the bridge. These are wired to the standard Les Paul controls, with reproduction Bumblebee capacitors. The neck controls use Amber control knobs, and the bridge Gold Top Hat knobs. The finish on the guitar is worth taking a few moments to appreciate. The Gold has something of a bronze vibe to it, avoiding the yellow-y colour that some of the more modern guitars sport. The binding has been lacquered a few shades darker, adding to the vintage look. The ageing & relic work that has been done is beautiful too, and adds an authenticity to the vintage look and feel of the instrument. Wear has been added in all the places you'd expect an old guitar to pick up battle scars - the corners of the headstock, the bass side lower bout where the forearm would rest, & at the bass side rear edge of the waist. It really makes the instrument feel lived in and well used without going too far. The Mahogany neck plays very well, with a profile which is certainly vintage-inspired and rather on the chunky side. Not at all cumbersome, but definitely carrying plenty of character that produces a unique playing experience amongst modern guitars. The Rosewood of the fingerboard is incredibly dark in appearance - Gibson Custom clearly know how to select their tonewoods carefully. It feels nicely luxurious under the fingers, and provides a robust playing surface. The Medium frets feel great for vibrato & string bending techniques, and ensure that the playing experience is smooth in all fingerboard positions. It really is a great playing Les Paul. The use of the two different saddle materials is interesting, as Bonamassa says that the Nylon saddles are better for the plain strings. Amplified, the pair of Gibson Burstbucker 2 & 3 humbucking pickups deliver unmistakeable Les Paul tones, perfect for the classic blues rock that Bonamassa is known for. Gibson's Burstbuckers are designed to be a replica of the famous PAF pickups that were shipped in early Les Paul models. The BB2 in the neck is round and powerful, pushing lead lines and solos to the front of the mix with ease and producing a rich, meaty growl. The BB3 in the bridge is of course hotter & brighter, and saturates into a thick...6910,00 £*Shipping: 0,00 £Secure redirect to the provider

This ‘mystery’ guitar has been speculated about since he first acquired it on tour in 1970. This guitar features the same early 50’s appointments such as the lower headstock decal placement, long-neck tenon joint and thinner binding. The Mahogany body and Maple top matched with the Rosewood fingerboard and Mahogany neck provide this guitar with soaring responsive resonance that true Les Pauls are renowned for, giving the guitar warm, smooth and rich tones that are an unmatched iconic part of musical culture. The Mahogany neck sits comfortably in the hand, with the 50’s profile filling the hand without being overly thick, this offers a balanced and smooth playing experience. The Medium Jumbo frets and 12" radius provide a robust and smooth playing experience all across the Rosewood fingerboard, and enhance string bending and vibrato techniques. The ABR-1 bridge provides this guitar almost infinite sustain and gives a true vintage feel for the player to get the most out of this guitar effortlessly. The Gibson Custom Shop Jimmy Page Humbucker in the neck position delivers impeccable lead tone for solos and melodic lines with a fantastically thick and full tone right out of the gate. The middle position sounds punchy, with driving mids along with crisp and clear highs making for a nice blend of the two pickups. The Gibson 'Dirty Fingers' Humbucker bridge position provides open sustain and broad harmonic clarity, making chords sound crystalline and clear. The Classic Les Paul wiring gives plenty of versatility without any complicated switching.3360,00 £*Shipping: 0,00 £Secure redirect to the provider

Gibson Custom, Art & Historic 1957 Les Paul Custom 'Black Beauty' Reissue 2000 black - RefurbishedThis is a stunning Gibson Custom, Art & Historic 1957 Les Paul Custom 'Black Beauty' Reissue in Ebony finish. Made in the USA in 2000, this guitar comes from one of the early iterations of what is today called the Gibson Custom Shop. Whilst Gibson have long been producing 'custom' special orders for customers & artists, it wasn't until late 1993 that a dedicated division was set up. Originally, the Custom, Art & Historic division produced historic reissues alongside special versions of USA line guitars that included unique features not available elsewhere. By 1996 the first Artist models were produced, beginning with the Joe Perry Les Paul & Ace Frehley in '97 which both went on to enjoy Gibson USA production runs. In 2007, Gibson renamed the division to simply 'Gibson Custom', simplifying its name but continuing to develop the finest & most exclusive instruments that Gibson offers. A faithful recreation of the 1957 Les Paul Custom 'Black Beauty' specification, this instrument of course features a set-neck construction comprising a Mahogany body with a Maple top, Mahogany neck and 22 fret Rosewood fingerboard. Gold hardware is fitted including a Bigsby B7 tailpiece, ABR-1 ToM bridge & Grover Rotomatic tuning machines. A trio of Gibson ‘57 Classic humbucking pickups are installed, and are wired to a 3-way toggle switch, neck volume, neck tone, middle/bridge volume & middle/bridge tone controls. Era-specific features are present such as the ‘50s headstock, ‘50s neck profile- even down to the historic spec wiring & electronic components. The Mahogany neck plays very well, with the Rounded ‘50s profile feeling nicely substantial in the hand. Whilst certainly on the thicker side, there is still plenty of scope for fast articulate playing - the neck is no ‘baseball bat’ as some ‘50s reissue instruments can be. There is a reassuring weight to the body at 10.25lbs thanks to the non-weight relieved Mahogany body - just as the original ‘50s guitars were. It’s easy to see why this era of Les Paul has endured & been celebrated so long - the smooth lines of the body are comfortable in both seated & standing positions, the controls are well placed & the cutaway offers unrestricted access to the top frets. The ‘57 Classic is Gibson’s modern recreation of the PAF humbucker, and as such make use of AlNiCo 2 magnets & balanced coils to get as close to the original PAF tone as possible without sacrificing any modern reliability. The neck position is round and powerful, and can handle plenty of gain for saturated lead tones. The bridge is of course brighter, and with a higher output can easily push your amp into a harmonically rich & searing distortion tone which is perfect for rock rhythm parts and riffs. The middle pickup is paired with the bridge, and adds a unique, powerful output which is exclusive to the Black Beauty.4930,00 £*Shipping: 0,00 £Secure redirect to the provider

Peavey Custom Shop EVH Wolfgang Custom South Korean Flag 2003 Electric Guitar Original - RefurbishedThis is a very special Peavey Custom Shop EVH Wolfgang electric guitar in Custom South Korean Flag finish. Made in the USA in 2003, this guitar came from the top end of Peavey's USA-made range, and was one of just two instruments made with the South Korean flag finish. Of course being a pioneering player & being known for outlandish & unique instruments, Eddie Van Halen developed the EVH signature with Ernie Ball Music Man in the early '90s, with the guitar being released in 1991, and was available until he moved to Peavey in 1995. The Peavey instrument was the first instrument named 'Wolfgang' & was a ground-up re-design of the EBMM instrument, first introduced at NAMM 1996. This was the instrument that really nailed what Ed was looking for - as can be seen by the fact that the EVH brand today still offers a Wolfgang which is almost identical to the Peavey iteration. Of course, a bolt on construction is employed, and comprises a Basswood body, Birdseye Maple neck and 22 fret Birdseye Maple fingerboard. A Peavey Licenced Floyd Rose double-locking tremolo system is installed, along with a set of Chrome Schaller tuning machines with Pearloid buttons. A pair of zebra-coil Peavey Custom Wound Passive Humbucking pickups are mounted directly onto the body, and are wired to a 3-way toggle switch, master volume & master tone controls. The Birdseye Maple neck plays exceptionally well, with the 'C' profile providing a smooth, responsive and precise playing experience across the register. The Satin finish to the rear of the neck ensures a smooth and supple feel in the hand whilst assisting with navigation of the 25.5" scale. The Birdseye Maple of the fingerboard is luxurious under the fingers, adding a real sense of opulence to the instrument. The 12"-16" radius is rounder in the lower register and flatter as you climb the neck, ensuring that the playing experience is tailored to the needs of the musician in all registers. The Jumbo frets make for smooth & solid string bending & vibrato techniques ensuring all your lead lines & guitar acrobatics are a breeze. The pair of Direct-Mount Peavey Custom Wound passive humbucking pickups installed in this guitar deliver thick and full-bodied tones, well suited to the hard rock, shred and guitar acrobatic style that Eddie was renowned for. The pickup selector is reversed, meaning that the bridge position is selected when the switch is up, just as Eddie preferred. The neck position is round and powerful, and retains plenty of clarity and precision for searing lead lines and solos. The bridge position is of course brighter and with a high output is powerful enough to drive your amp into a saturated distortion tone for rhythm parts and riffing. The controls are kept simple, with some extra refinement in the form of high and low friction pots with a treble bleed circuit. This means you can easily dial in your perfect tone right on the instrument.2730,00 £*Shipping: 0,00 £Secure redirect to the provider
